Hosted by Sovereign Islands resident and Zanthii Communications Director, Joanne Rahn and mother, Marilyn West, the Sovereign Islands & Surrounds Monthly Community Luncheon will be held on the second Wednesday of every month.

We are thrilled to announce this month’s exciting venue – IOESCO Sanctuary Cove! Ioesco is an elegant Italian restaurant with high ceilings and decadent decor, offering a classic, seasonal menu.

PS: Ioesco translates to “I’m Going Out”!

The luncheon has been established as an avenue for the Sovereign Islands and neighbouring communities to connect and engage in a relaxed and non-pretentious environment.

ALL WELCOME – so please come along, meet and socialise with your neighbours whilst supporting a worthwhile cause.

Our next luncheon will be held on Wednesday, 10th of April, 2024 // 11:45am-3pm with raffle and auction proceeds being donated to Stefanie and Victor Doree’s Unsung Heroes 2024 fundraising campaign for The Carers Foundation Australia.

Early bird tickets are only $99 each* and include a sparkling white or red wine/soft drink/juice on arrival, gourmet three-course “feast style menu” luncheon, raffles, auctions, guest speakers, fun and a guaranteed good time!

* April 2024 luncheon tickets purchased after the 5th of April will be $109

  • All tickets must be paid for in advance
  • We require at least 48 hours notice if you cannot attend the event otherwise your ticket will be forfeited
  • Please no transferring of tickets without advising the host (Joanne Rahn) in advance
  • As this is a private event and we have a strict capacity limit imposed by the restaurant, please no “drop ins”
  • There will be a professional photographer in attendance so please be ready to flash your smiles for the camera!

Zanthii Director, Joanne Rahn and Mother, Marilyn West hosted a sold-out crowd at the inaugural Sovereign Islands & Surrounds Monthly Community Luncheon at Jonez On Ephraim, Paradise Point on Wednesday, 12 October, 2022.
Close to 40 guests from Sovereign Islands and surrounds enjoyed a gourmet 2-couse luncheon prepared by Michelin-star chef, Gary Jones whilst raising more than $2,000 for domestic and family violence support charity, Red Rose Foundation Australia.
An auction prize of an exclusive Lamborghini champagne gift set generously donated by Georgina Randall at AMT Marine Luxury Boat Brokerage achieved $650 – with 100% of proceeds going directly to Red Rose Foundation Australia.
The event was proudly supported by Edin Kara Ray White Sovereign Islands and Zanthii Communications.
Hailed as a massive success by all, the next luncheon will be held on the second Wednesday of each month.
